The infrared sensor technology allows the lid to automatically open when your hand or debris is within ten inches or a 130° angle. The lid will stay open as long as the sensor detects movement within its range, and will close automatically three seconds after your hand moves away. With up to 6 months of battery life in normal daily usage, this trash can is both convenient and energy-efficient.

The trash can includes a ring liner to hold the trash bag securely in place and maintain a tidy appearance. Please note that the previous version of this model used 4 D batteries, but the current model requires 3 C batteries (not included). The water-resistant sensor prevents damage from moisture and accidental spills, while the fingerprint-resistant stainless steel base keeps the unit clean and looking new.
